About Our Founder
The BootsieMWC Foundation was founded in 2008 by Stephanie Engelhard in loving memory of her grandmother, Bootsie. Known for her kindness and unwavering commitment to helping those in need, Bootsie’s legacy lives on through the foundation’s mission to support Maryland families facing poverty and hardship. Inspired by her grandmother’s compassion, Stephanie established the foundation to provide food, toys, and other essential resources to children and families in need.
